We are a team of 5 marketing students at Coventry University. We represent a mixture of nationalities: British, German, Norwegian, Lithuanian, and Romanian.
Gabriela - There are many experiences throughout my life which have contributed to who I am as a person. Between the ages of five and thirteen, I played professional field tennis. Due to the athletic life style, I became an organized, perseverent and ambitious person. I learned how to fight continuously for something I wanted to achieve. Besides technical and tactical advantages, gained through practice, a vital aspect of the game is analyzing your opponent, as well as understanding non-verbal communication. My undergraduate education in global marketing and communications, —along with my professional experience- has provided me with a broad knowledge base concerning cultural differences and similarities. Furthermore, I have gained a well developed intellectual structure that will enable me to apply my knowledge to the management of global branding and marketing, domestic marketing, and global communications. I have always been interested in creating communication campaigns for different brands. When it comes to my leisure time, I enjoy listening to music, going out with my friends and shopping. Whenever I have the chance, I play tennins or go swimming.
Britta - I am currently a postgraduate student at Coventry University. Once I graduate, I hope to be finding a job that is related to either marketing or event management. I believe that my open-mindedness and directness were highly influenced by the environment I grew up in. Leaving home and moving to Malta on my own at the age of 19 has made me a responsible and independent individual.
Vitalijus - I am a post graduate student at Coventry University. I am studying Advertising and Marketing. My first degree is in IT, which I completed in Lithuania, before coming to UK. I enjoy working with e-marketing projects and nontraditional advertising campaigns.
Louis - I am a post-grad student at Coventry University where I study advertising and marketing (MA). This is my fourth year at Coventry after graduating with an Advertising and Media (BA) degree. Advertising is the part of marketing which interests me the most where i have the chance to explore the more creative sides of marketing.
Owen - I am studying an Advertising & Marketing MA at Coventry University after completing a BA in English at Loughborough University. From a marketing perspective I am specifically interested in branding and advertisement. I enjoy the strategy which influences these two areas and also the creative process that enables them.
